Effective March 27, 2020: FCPR playgrounds, outdoor basketball courts and the skate park are closed to the public to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Parks and trails remain open. Use caution and practice social distancing.
Effective March 25, 2020: FCPR facilities are closed to public access. FCPR will conduct business over the phone and online. FCPR has postponed all department organized programs, activities, athletics, special events and rentals through April 30. FCPR will not take any additional shelter or room reservations until after May 31. FCPR staff will contact and work with affected individuals and groups to reschedule or refund at a later date. As conditions change, the status of these postponements and closures will be re-evaluated.
Cliffdale, College Lakes, Kiwanis, Smith and Westover Recreation Centers have large and small room rentals on a space available. The large room can accommodate up to 250 people. These facilities are also equipped with kitchens; Kiwanis and Smith provide catering services. The gymnasium in each facility can be rented, also. Call the center for more information. Gilmore Therapeutic Recreation Center on Purdue Drive has a large room available and kitchen. Call 433-1000 for rental information. Massey Hill Recreation Center on Camden Road has a large meeting room for gatherings; call 433-1569 for information. Myers Recreation Center on Rochester Avenue has room rentals, a gymnasium and kitchen. Call 433-1570 for more information. The Senior Center on Blue Street rents a large room in the main building during the week, and the cafeteria area on weekends. Information is available at 433-1574. Gray’s Creek, Lake Rim, Pine Forest, Stedman and Stoney Point Recreation Centers each have a large room that accommodates up to 100 people. Each has a full kitchen.
