Effective March 27, 2020: FCPR playgrounds, outdoor basketball courts and the skate park are closed to the public to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Parks and trails remain open. Use caution and practice social distancing.

Effective March 25, 2020: FCPR facilities are closed to public access. FCPR will conduct business over the phone and online. FCPR has postponed all department organized programs, activities, athletics, special events and rentals through April 30. FCPR will not take any additional shelter or room reservations until after May 31. FCPR staff will contact and work with affected individuals and groups to reschedule or refund at a later date. As conditions change, the status of these postponements and closures will be re-evaluated.

In a cooperative and supportive effort and effective immediately, Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks & Recreation has postponed all department organized programs, activities, athletics, special events and rentals through April 30. Chromebooks

Cumberland County Schools and FCPR have partnered together to provide access to technology for students in the Cumberland County School System as well as the general public. In order to use the Chromebook, you must have a completed Chromebook Activity Registration Form on file. Chromebook checkout is for a limited time and only allowed within the FCPR facility.

Need a space to do some work or check email? Come to our computer lab during the week to complete tasks. Contact recreation center for more information.

Coaches Needed

Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Football, Cheer, and Soccer are needed at J.S. Spivey Recreation Center for the upcoming sports seasons. Please call for more information or stop by the center. Background check is required.

Outdoor Basketball

Enjoy the fresh air and practice your shot on the outdoor basketball court. This area has lights for night play.

Splash Pad

Fight the heat with a splash of water! Come enjoy the Splash Pad as water sprinkles from a rainbow of arches. Onlookers can relax under the shaded tables near the Splash Pad.

*Youth Art Classes & DIY Projects*

Channel your creative side! Come join us for DIY crafts, painting and beading activities. This is a great activity for the entire family, classes will be held once a month.

Cinco de Mayo Celebration

Come Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with us! There will be a Taco bar and games. Registration is required. Registration deadline is Fri. May 1.

Come and join us for a night of classic games such as Chess, Bingo, Charades, Pictionary and more! Bring your friends and family. Reserve your space and sign up by Thursday of that week.
