College Lakes Fitness Center

Adults can now exercise using some of the latest fitness technology! The Fitness Room is equipped treadmills, elliptical machines and stationary bikes to increase cardiovascular fitness. A simple questionnaire must be completed on the first visit and renewed annually.

Morning Zumba Fitness

Zumba is a Latin style aerobics class that will help you to get into shape and burn calories. Ditch the workout and join the party! Join the millions of people that have decided that having fun and working out are not mutually exclusive. Get with the group who’d rather have a blast!

All About Fitness

Want to work out and fellowship at the same time? This is the class for you! This class will keep you guessing and challenge you differently in every class! Workouts are designed to improve your overall fitness, strength, cardio, and flexibility. Have fun and work hard! Children welcomed to all events.

Senior Line Dance

Get ready to learn all the latest dance steps and be part of a group that shows off their moves. You will get to go dancing at other center and organizations. Come and join in on the fun!

Take Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS)

Want to stay fit and trim? If the answer is yes, then you will want to join this group. You will meet in a group setting and learn strategies that will help you in losing that extra, unwanted weight.

V’z Learning and Training Academy (VLTA)

The mission of VLTA is to create future leaders by offering instructional classes that develop youth by using creative workshops. These workshops will increase self confidence, public speaking, interviewing skills, personal appearance, how to answer pageant questions, leadership skills, etiquette, creative thinking, and life skills that foster community involvement, responsibility and respect for themselves and others.  Scheduled fashion shows will be announced. In addition there will be service projects to help our community. Children younger than 6 years old will be taken on an individual basis.

We all have past failures, disappointments and disapprovals. This program is designed with you in mind, because your brokenness does not define who you are. Come fellowship and inspire through the conversations of others are a perfect way for nourishment as well as a stellar opportunity to listen, strengthen and inspire others.

Baseball, Softball, Indoor Soccer, Summer Basketball, Summer Volleyball, Fall Baseball, Football, Soccer, Cheerleading and Volleyball coaches are needed at College Lakes Recreation Center. For information or to volunteer, stop by or call the recreation center.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Baseball/Softball Clinic

Learn the fundamentals of baseball and softball from experienced players and coaches. Participants will learn baseball and softball skills through various drills and exercises.

Coaches Clinic

Learn proper practice structure, useful drills for teaching, and the best way to maximize your limited practice time. Clinic will be taught by a former pro scout.

Opening Day Ceremonies

Kickoff the 2017 baseball season with fun activities and a parade of our baseball / softball teams. This includes all of the zone 4 teams. The ceremony will take place at the Pine Forest Recreation Center.

Community Spring Yard Sale

Have some items that are in good condition that you would love to give away? Bring your items that are in good condition to the College Lakes Recreation Center for our spring yard sale. All you have to do is register for a table and you keep all the proceeds. Pre-registration is required.
