ALL Star Tumbling

This class is designed to develop your child physical and social abilities through the body movement and group participation. They will learn basic tumbling skills with instruction on balance, rolls, flexibility, body position, cartwheels, bridge work, handstands, back-bends, and walkovers. 
2-3 yrs; Tues., Wed. and Thurs.; 4-4:30 pm; $20/month

ALL Star Cheer Clinic

This class will help beginners and experienced cheerleaders to learn all essential skills to lead the crowd, learn cheer, proper hand and body movements as well as jumping and tumbling techniques. They will also learn important life skills of team building.

Belly Dancing

Start off on the right foot! Let our instructor guide you through the fundamental movements, combinations and music appreciation in the Beginners class. Those comfortable with the basics can explore a variety of choreographic in the Intermediate class while improving retention coordination and technique. Experience the camaraderie of troupe dancing in the Advance class where emphasis is placed on performance skills and the dynamic elements of group dances.

Champions in Motion (Cheer)

Chef Tammy's Teaching Table

This class will help unleash your child's inner chef with simple and delicious recipes they can manage to complete with a little bit of effort and a whole lot of fun. So, if they display a passion for cooking and enjoy helping in the kitchen, these "hands on" cooking classes are designed especially for them.

Creative Hands Juice and Paint

Painting is much more than a simple activity. It is a way for your child to express themselves in their own special way, Painting aids children acquire hand-eye coordination, an important skill in their age. This is developed while they learn to paint the parts that they see; making sure their hand movement is at par with their vision.

Creative Hands Paint with Me

Want to learn drawing and painting techniques? Learn to draw volume and perspective. Painting with acrylic on frame; techniques with pastels, still life subjects, landscape, human figure and for smaller painting techniques with hands, brushes, mops, brushes, sponges and many ideas for fun while painting. Painting also helps children use their senses, express emotion, explore process and outcomes of color.

Making Proud Choices

Making Proud Choices is a free multi-session teen health program focused on training youth ages 14-19 as Peer Health Educators. Peer Health Educators learn how to think and act responsibly around their health and well-being. It allows them to build their health advocacy skills related to healthy relationships and communication, as well as abstinence and teen pregnancy prevention. The goal is to empower young people to think critically about their impact as young leaders, allowing them to earn valuable community leadership experience. Dinner is provided during each class meeting. Parents and guardians must complete an application for their teen to participate in the program. For more information contact (910) 729-0971.

The Health Improvement Project, or HIP, is a free 4 session HIV-prevention program for teens ages 14-19 that provides medically-accurate health information related to setting healthy personal boundaries, resisting peer pressure, and interpersonal communication, as well as STD prevention and abstinence. Once teens have completed the program, they become Peer Health Educators, which looks great on a college application or resume! *This program is a continuation of the Making Proud Choices program, but no pre-requisite classes are required to participate.

POUND Fit

Sweat, sculpt, and rock with the world's first cardio jam session inspired by the energizing, infectious, sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. Pre-registration is required. Yoga mat is recommended. ID is required for Ripstix.

Senior Aerobics

Meet new friends, socialize, have fun and get fit. Join this group of active seniors and work out to a low impact aerobics routine designed specifically for seniors.

Senior Chair Aerobics

This is a unique program for seniors and individuals who have trouble standing on their own or have difficulty balancing. Chair aerobics is a gentle way to participate in exercise to improve strength training, muscle and bone strength, balance, flexibility and circulation.

Senior Geek Squad

Partnering with the library we are able to provide a technology class for our seniors. They will go over typical issues that affect seniors. Grouped in with this class they will also be providing a genealogy course to show different ways you can trace your ancestry.

Senior Line Dancing

All you have to do is jump in line and follow along. Seniors, if you’re looking for fun and a way to burn some energy, or just want to get involved, the line dancing class is just what you need to keep the body moving.

Uplifting Society

Uplifting Society, Inc. is a group of community leaders committed to breaking the generational cycles of poverty in Fayetteville, NC through life skills training, college preparation, and financial education. The vision is to ensure the personal growth and development of all our youth through classroom instructions, practical exercise and encouragement to include recognition of achievements and positive contribution to community and society.

Whitted Taekwondo

Children, adults, and seniors can build confidence and self-esteem in this officially sanctioned club of USA Taekwondo and affiliate of the US Olympic Committee. Students will learn the five tenets of taekwondo; integrity, courtesy, self-esteem, perseverance, and indomitable spirit.

Youth Open Gym

Youth can enjoy a pickup game or just shoot around for fun. Free play permission form must be completed by a parent/guardian and remain on file. A photo of each participant will be acquired by staff for identification purposes.

Zumba

Zumba is a Latin style aerobics class that is exhilarating, effective, easy to follow, Latin-inspired, calorie burning dance fitness party that is moving millions of people to lose weight fast while having fun. This group occasionally has glow parties.

Cliffdale Future Leaders

This mentoring program strives to promote positive self-image, proper conduct, and hard work in young men. The teenage years are an important time to empower boys to follow their dreams. Young men will learn basic life skills, listen to college ambassador’s speak on opportunities at local colleges, hear about City of Fayetteville employment opportunities, and much more.

Cliffdale, EE Miller and Lake Rim Eggs-Travaganza

Come on out for an egg-tastic time with your friends at Cliffdale, EE Miller and Lake Rim Recreation Centers! There will be games, food vendors, a bounce house, crafts, music and more! Don’t forget to bring your basket for the egg hunt. This event will be hosted at Cliffdale Recreation Center (6404 Cliffdale Road) and is absolutely free!

Young men may also be accompanied by an older sister, aunt, grandmother or any mother figure that is important or has influenced their life. Attire will be Sunday best. Space is limited be sure to buy your ticket early. Tickets will be on sale April 6-May 7.

3rd Annual Back 2 School FREE Supplies Shopping Spree

Cliffdale Recreation Center has partnered with Were on A Mission (W.A.M.) and will be taking donations for school supplies (pencils, papers, notebooks, erasers, backpacks, crayons, glue, pens, rulers, etc.) to give to those in need. Donations may be dropped off at Cliffdale Recreation Center. Come out and join us for food and games and other festivities.
