Youth Open Gym

Come work on your basketball skills while improving your health along with others your age. Schedule is subject to change without notice. Participants should call in advance.

Fitness Room

No more excuses! Fitness equipment is available during all operation hours. Schedule your time to get a good workout and get your body into shape. Ages 13-17 yrs must be accompanied by an adult. All participants must complete a “Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire. Open during facility operational hours.

Computer Lab

Are you looking for a safe and quiet place to study or work on the computer.  Myers recreation center’s computer lab has desktop computers with internet access, and are free to the public. Youth under 12 yrs must be accompanied by an adult.

Pickle Ball

Individuals looking for some great exercise for the mind and body, Pickle ball is the game to try. This sport combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong using a paddle and plastic ball with holes. Beginners who just want to learn something new, or seasonal players craving competitive play, this is the place. Come give it a try!

Pickleball Wednesday  

Pickleball players who just cant get enough of the game. We're playing pickleball from opening to close on Wednesdays during the fall season. Friendly Competitive play, Gym rules are in place.                                                                                          13+ (youth must be accompanied by an adult); Sept. 4- Nov. 27; 1-8:45pm

The Vet Connection 

A peer led social support group. Vets interested in connecting with other vets to socialize and play Pickleball; Occasional guest speakers, to provided information on veteran affairs and support. (Fayetteville Area Veterans Pickleball Group)

Pop Up! Paint Class 

Not your traditional painting in a class, each class will be in a different area around the recreation center. This class will focus on observational painting (painting what you see)                                                                                                                                  7-13 yrs; Wed, Nov. 20, Dec. 11; 4:30-6 pm; $10/session

Get Recruited!!

High School Athletes interested in competing at the college level, Register not to attend a "Get Recruited " session to receive all the tactics to make yourself more visible and draw college recruiters attention. Find universities that share your aspiration for both academics and athletics. Two sessions available. Registration required.

Santa in the Park 

Bring the children out to enjoy arts, crafts and games along with a visit from Santa.                                                                        12-under yrs; Fri., Dec. 13; 4:30-6 pm ; Free
