Teen Connections (BART)
A 12 week program for teens ages 14-18 that teaches medically-accurate health information to empower young people to become a responsible teen. The program focuses on teen-pregnancy prevention, and training youth as leaders and peer health educators. Once teens graduate from Teen Connections, they earn a $100 stipend.

A 12 week program for middle school aged boys that is aimed to prevent adolescent pregnancy by teaching self-responsibility, goal setting, and decision making. Once teens graduate from Wise Guys, they earn a $50 stipend.

Want to get your pre-school child involved in sports? This is a beginner T-Ball program for 3 and 4 year olds. Your child will learn the basic rules as well as develop their motor skills and learn about teamwork. Each child will be placed on a team. Teams will practice and play in non-competitive games against other teams. Parents are strongly encouraged to assist and play taking an active role in their child’s development; Registration runs Jan. 2- March 2; proof of age; three proofs of residency.

Making Proud Choices
Making Proud Choices! Gives teens the skills, knowledge, and confidence to make healthy decisions. Teens will get the tools they need to clarify their own values about sexual activity; make decisions that will help them avoid becoming infected with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS; and learn skills to put their decisions into action. Making Proud Choices! Includes additional training classes on Healthy Relationships and Communication, Contraception, and STI prevention. Participant’s ages 14-18 will complete a free 4 week training program, that will take place after school and dinner will be provided. Help a Military Warrior
Interested in helping a local combat wounded hero enjoy hunting or fishing? Please join us for our monthly planning meetings. We work to provide encouragement and opportunities for our local heroes, and their families to be able to enjoy outdoor hunting and fishing activities. We are the local all-volunteer chapter of Military Warrior Support Foundation (militarywarriors.org) a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity that provides support for local combat wounded heroes and Gold Star Families. We also seek volunteers to serve as mentors, help raise funds and provide support for the local program. Symphony in the Neighborhood
Come and enjoy an evening of Jazz performed by the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra Musicians. Bring a blanket or lawn chair as these items will not be provided. Some food trucks will be on site to purchase food. No pets or alcohol are allowed in the park. The concert will last approximately an hour and a half, with a short intermission.
