WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE AN UMPIRE OR A REFEREE?

We need umpires and referees for both youth and adult sports.  Earn good money and provide a community service at the same time.  No experience is necessary, but you need to attend a free, sport specific clinic prior to the season you work.  Contact the booking agent at 910-850-0006 or erniefisher@nc.rr.com.  Don’t wait, the next season is almost here. The pay ranges from $25-$30 per game.

Junior Official Program

This 3 part program will focus on the following:

  • Level I will focus on Life Skills training involving decision making, conflict resolution, team building, customer service and communication.
  • Level II will focus on athletic offi ciating philosophies, rule enforcements, exams, mechanics and film review.
  • Level III will focus on the field/court practicum exercises with live scrimmages.

Prospective officials must complete each level in order to advance to the next phase. Upon completion of all 3 levels, graduates have the opportunity to offi ciate youth games in the FCPR Program and earn CASH! Register at any recreation center or call for more information.
