Effective March 27, 2020: FCPR playgrounds, outdoor basketball courts and the skate park are closed to the public to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Parks and trails remain open. Use caution and practice social distancing.

Effective March 25, 2020: FCPR facilities are closed to public access. FCPR will conduct business over the phone and online. FCPR has postponed all department organized programs, activities, athletics, special events and rentals through April 30. In a cooperative and supportive effort and effective immediately, Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks & Recreation has postponed all department organized programs, activities, athletics, special events, and rentals through April 30. *Youth Open Gym*

Participants must have a permission form completed by a parent or guardian to participate. Participants must be signed in by an accompanying adult.

*Adult Open Gym*

Participants must complete a waiver to participate. Participants will be required to present identification.
18+; Sat.; 2:45-4:45 pm; $2/person

Walking Track

Enjoy a cardio workout on your down time; utilize the walking track around the baseball field. For those keeping count, 5 times around the track equals a mile!

Friday Night Food, Fun & Fellowship

Looking for a night out with friends? Come to the Stedman Recreation Center for a grand ole’ time! All participants must register and registration ends three days before the date of the program! Be sure to mark your calendars so you don’t miss out!

*Zumba*

Zumba uses a combination of easy to follow dance and fitness moves in a one of a kind fitness program that will blow you away! Zumba inspires participants so that you are excited to work out for this energizing, non-stop hour.

*Zumba Gold*

Zumba Gold is a lower intensity class for active older adults or beginners.  It focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. It also focuses on all elements of cardiovascular, muscular conditioning, flexibility and balance.

*Tae Kwon Do*

Self-defense offers a physical fitness, self-discipline, academic achievement, fun and excitement in a non-violent atmosphere.

*KidCreate*

Bringing the art Studio to Stedman! KidCreate will offer different art classes for children to unleash their creativity.  Classes range from painting to pottery and everything in between.  Children ages 5-12 yrs are encouraged to attend.  Classes are one hour in length.  Please dress appropriately.  Call the Stedman Recreation Center for more information!

Attention Middle or High School Students….are you looking for volunteer hours for school. Are you interested in building your resume? The Stedman Recreation Center has volunteer hours for you. Cinco de Bingo

Miss the crowds at the restaurant while still getting your taco fix.  WE will be catering a delicious Mexican dinner while playing a friendly game of Bingo.  Please pre-register by May 1.

2020 Summer Kickoff!

Schools (almost) out for summer! Bring the family out for a fun filled day of good food and good times. There will be water activities (water slide, etc.), a traditional summer BBQ, field games and more!

Bring the whole family and spend a morning creating your very own sidewalk chalk masterpiece!  Prizes will be awarded based on originality, creativity, and more.  Supplies will be provided or bring your own for a morning of family fun.
